- Soliciting corporate and banquet business through effective action plan preparation and execution.
- Establishing quotes based on negotiated agreements and pricing strategies, confirmed by written contracts.
- Participating in conventions and promotional events related to our segment.
- Maintaining detailed records of accounts, contacts, activities, and business details.
- Collaborating with the Catering & Conference Service Department to ensure delivery of all contract details, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Preparing necessary reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Balancing operational, administrative, and colleague needs while adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Previous experience in the local hotel market is required.
- Experience in hotel sales with established contacts with corporate accounts is crucial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications and/or relevant computer applications is required.
- A university/college degree in a related discipline is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be highly accountable, reliable, and able to focus on guest needs while remaining calm and courteous.
