Job Description

About the Role

Catrion Group is seeking an Officer, Technical Operations to join their team in the Eastern Province, covering cities such as Dammam, Al Jubail, Al Khobar, Al Qatif, Al Hafuf, Hafar Al Batin, and Al-Ahsa. This permanent role involves organizing, controlling, and administering all technical operations activities, including maintenance support, technical projects, facilities, equipment, and related functions. The successful candidate will also plan staffing requirements and provide necessary support to achieve company goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish effective information and communication systems to ensure timely dissemination and implementation of technical updates, revised procedures, regulations, project information, and administrative instructions.
  • Ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of all Technical Operations activities.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding management policies, technical information, projects, employee matters, and other sensitive departmental issues.
  • Ensure the proper utilization and maintenance of office equipment, technical tools, systems, and other departmental resources.
  • Maintain and regularly update Technical Operations statistics, performance data, maintenance records, and project progress reports, keeping senior management and concerned departments informed.
  • Ensure that required reports are received from all Technical Operations sections and prepare consolidated weekly and monthly reports for relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain an efficient filing, document-control, and information-flow system for technical records, drawings, manuals, maintenance documentation, and departmental correspondence.
  • Monitor the validity of required technical certifications, permits, access passes, driving licenses, and other authorizations for Technical Operations employees.
  • Coordinate the annual inventory of fixed assets, technical equipment, tools, and capital assets with relevant supervisors, and follow up on inventories across Technical Operations units.
  • Follow up on important meetings, action items, commitments, and decisions involving Technical Operations senior management.
  • Monitor Technical Operations plans, maintenance schedules, technical projects, and assigned initiatives, and regularly brief senior management on their progress.
  • Communicate relevant workforce, administrative, and technical information to Technical Operations senior management to support effective decision-making.
  • Participate in scheduled technical meetings, project briefings, operational coordination meetings, and other meetings as required.
  • Provide technical and administrative support to operational areas during peak periods, emergencies, projects, equipment failures, and whenever required.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in technical operations or a similar field. The role requires a strong understanding of technical processes and administrative coordination.

Work Type and Location

This is a permanent position based in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, with responsibilities extending across Dammam, Al Jubail, Al Khobar, Al Qatif, Al Hafuf, Hafar Al Batin, and Al-Ahsa.
