About The Ritz-Carlton and the Day Auditor Role

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, ***, a global leader in luxury hospitality and part of the Marriott International portfolio, is seeking a Day Auditor to join its team in An Nu'ayriyah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 year of experience, focusing on maintaining financial accuracy and upholding the company's renowned "Gold Standards" daily.

Purpose of the Role

The Day Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of financial operations and guest service excellence. This position contributes to the continuous improvement and success that defines The Ritz-Carlton's reputation, by diligently applying the foundational "Gold Standards," which include the Employee Promise, Credo, and Service Values. The role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences that align with our luxury service benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify the accuracy of figures, postings, and various financial documents.
  • Manage computerized financial information, including recording, storage, access, and analysis.
  • Control and secure cash and cash equivalents in adherence to established cash handling policies.
  • Organize, secure, and maintain all files and records according to document retention and confidentiality policies.
  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, and payroll reports and tables.
  • Audit and reconcile all revenue postings to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Operational Standards and Guest Engagement

  • Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures, reporting any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions, and maintaining awareness of undesirable persons on property.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information, and protecting company assets, guest privacy, and coworker security.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guest service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
  • Communicate professionally and clearly, prepare and review written documents accurately, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

  • A minimum of 0-1 year of relevant experience is required for this role.
  • Demonstrated ability to check figures for accuracy and manage financial information.
  • Proficiency in preparing and reviewing accurate written documents and communicating clearly.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
