Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cost control strategies and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze financial data for cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and present financial reports, budget forecasts, and variance analysis to senior management.
- Coordinate with project managers to track and control project costs.
- Review and approve purchase orders, invoices, and expense reports.
- Conduct regular audits of financial records and procedures.
- Train and mentor cost control staff.
- Collaborate with teams to develop cost reduction initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Provide guidance on cost control matters.
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Accounting or Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in related fields on major national/international initiatives.
- Extensive knowledge in project cost management.
- Ability to present budgeting plans to senior management.
- Fluent in Arabic and English with strong communication skills.
