You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates, quantity take-offs, and submitting bids for civil construction projects (infrastructure, roads, utilities, water networks, and buildings). This position ensures compliance with client requirements, project specifications, and Saudi market standards to support winning tenders and achieving company profitability.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing and Analyzing Bids:
    Review bid documents, drawings, specifications, scope of work, and contractual requirements. Identify missing information, technical risks, and clarification inquiries.
  • Quantity Take-off Analysis (QTO):
    Conduct accurate quantity take-off analysis using drawings and IFC documents. Prepare quantity take-offs according to standard formats.
  • Cost Estimation:
    Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil works. Analyze materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs based on Saudi market prices.
  • Coordination with Suppliers and Subcontractors:
    Evaluate technical and commercial bids and negotiate to obtain competitive prices.
  • Preparing Bids:
    Prepare comprehensive bid packages including pricing and quantity take-offs.
  • Value Engineering and Alternatives:
    Propose alternatives to save costs and provide value engineering solutions.
  • Coordination and Reporting:
    Coordinate with planning, procurement, design, and construction teams.
  • Compliance:
    Ensure that bid submissions comply with Saudi regulations and standards.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (mandatory).
  • 5-10 years of experience in cost estimation/bidding in Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong numerical analysis and communication skills.
