Job Title:
Pricing Engineer - Information Technology Sector
Job Objective:
Prepare and analyze price offers and calculate the estimated cost of projects, products, and services in the information technology sector, ensuring a balance between price competitiveness and company profitability, and supporting the sales and bidding team in winning projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Study Requests for Proposals (RFPs, RFQs) and analyze technical and financial requirements.
2. Price quantity tables for government projects.
3. Prepare pricing tables and financial offers for projects and products (devices, systems, software solutions, support and maintenance services).
4. Coordinate with technical teams (infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, software) to understand needs and estimate required resources.
5. Communicate with suppliers and partners to obtain price quotes and compare prices and discounts.
6. Prepare cost analysis and calculate the expected profit margin for each project.
7. Contribute to the formulation of technical and financial offers and submit them on time.
8. Monitor market prices and compare competitors to update pricing strategies.
9. Ensure compliance with company policies and pricing procedures and adhere to contractual terms.
10. Support the sales team by providing data and reports related to cost and profitability.
11. Contribute to improving pricing templates and developing cost and profit calculation tools.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience (3–5 years) in pricing, bidding, or cost management in the information technology field.
• Good knowledge of technical solutions (networks, cybersecurity, data centers, cloud computing, software).
• Proficiency in data preparation and analysis using Excel and other analytical tools.
• Ability to prepare clear and accurate financial reports.
• Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and partners.

• Oversee project cost estimation and forecasting for engineering, procurement, and construction in major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Evaluate and consult on cost estimation issues.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• At least 12 years of experience, with a minimum of 8 years in project cost estimation for Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Experience in project controls at a similar level.
• Proficient in MS Office and Primavera P6.

• Oversee the project controls team for various projects.
• Provide project control support to the Project Management team.
• Evaluate project cost estimation and forecasting issues.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

• Lead the preparation, review, and submission of cost estimates and commercial proposals, ensuring technical and commercial accuracy.
• Analyze inquiry packages and develop cost breakdowns, including materials, manufacturing, bought-out components, labor, and overhead.
• Support the execution team with margin analysis, cost reconciliation, and commercial adjustments throughout project execution.
• Contribute to localization initiatives by identifying and evaluating local sourcing opportunities.
• Maintain and update cost databases, supplier price libraries, and internal reference tools.

• Budget Management: Establish and maintain the project’s Baseline Budget and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
• Cost Monitoring: Track daily/weekly expenditures, commitments, and resource allocations against the project plan.
• Forecasting: Perform Estimate at Completion (EAC) and Estimate to Complete (ETC) analysis to predict final project costs.
• Reporting: Generate monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and variance analyses (Actual vs. Budget).
• Change Management: Evaluate the cost impact of change orders and technical modifications.
• Performance Measurement: Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) to assess project health.

• Analytical Rigor: Ability to spot trends in massive datasets and identify the "why" behind a variance.
• Software Proficiency: Expert-level Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros) and experience with ERP/Project Management software (*, SAP, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project).
• Communication: The ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders (Project Managers, Engineers, and Clients).

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical) from an accredited institution.
