Join Our Team as a Cost Engineer!

At Mapa Group, we are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Cost Engineer to become a vital part of our Juranah Independent Strategic Water Reservoir Project (ISWR) controls team. Your expertise will help us ensure effective financial oversight on complex, large-scale infrastructure and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and manage comprehensive cost control systems in alignment with project scope.
  • Monitor and track project budgets, commitments, actual expenditures, and forecasts.
  • Conduct earned value analysis (EVA) and generate cost performance metrics.
  • Prepare monthly cost reports, including forecast-to-complete (FTC) and estimate-at-completion (EAC) evaluations.
  • Analyze the cost impact of change orders, delays, and modifications, coordinating with contract and planning teams.
  • Manage the client payment application process.
  • Oversee subcontractor cost control activities, ensuring timely payments and contractual compliance.
  • Assist in cost alignment with BOQs, scope packages, and tender deliverables.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cost control and project controls.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Oracle Primavera Cost Module, or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel.
  • Deep understanding of cost control methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Detail-oriented and self-driven.
  • Prior experience in client-facing roles is highly desirable.
