Senior Cost / Estimation Engineer will be a key player in managing cost estimation, cost planning, and cost control activities across multiple projects. You will ensure accurate cost forecasting and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare detailed cost estimates for all project phases including concept, design, tender, construction, and closeout.
- Develop and maintain project cost plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Review and validate contractor/consultant cost estimates and proposals.
- Support tender evaluation and recommendations during procurement.
- Monitor project costs, track variations, and prepare regular cost reports.
- Perform value engineering and risk-based cost assessments.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure integrated cost control.
- Prepare management presentations and advise senior leadership on cost-related matters.
Qualifications & Experience:- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.
- Minimum 10+ years in cost estimation and control, especially in a PMC/Consultancy environment.
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation techniques and construction contracts.
- Proficient in cost management software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Certifications like MRICS, CCP, or PMP are preferred.
