Performing accounting tasks for more than one company (company and other entities)
Proficiency in working with accounting software
Experience in preparing tax declarations
Knowledge of the systems of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority
Experience in human resources and work systems
Secretarial work and file organization
Scheduling and coordinating meetings and writing minutes
Speed in accomplishment
Ability to work under pressure

A general accountant is required to work in a reputable company, with at least 5 years of experience in public accounting and financial management. The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with proficiency in English and the use of accounting software and Excel. The main tasks and responsibilities include: • Preparing and recording daily accounting entries and bank reconciliations • Preparing monthly and annual financial reports • Monitoring accounts payable and receivable and managing outstanding debts • Preparing budget estimates and analyzing variances • Participating in the preparation of tax and zakat declarations • Monitoring expenses and revenues and preparing cash flows • Working on developing and improving accounting procedures.
