Join Hill International as a Senior Cost Control Engineer (E2)!

We are looking for a talented individual to develop and implement cost control strategies while ensuring effective financial management throughout our projects. As a Senior Cost Control Engineer, you will monitor and analyze financial data, prepare presentations for senior management, and collaborate with various teams to improve profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement cost control strategies and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data for cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, budget forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Coordinate with project managers to track and control project costs.
  • Review and approve purchase orders, invoices, and expense reports.
  • Conduct regular audits of financial records.
  • Train and mentor cost control staff.
  • Collaborate on cost reduction initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Provide guidance to the finance team on cost control matters.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Accounting or Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in cost control on major initiatives.
  • Extensive knowledge of project costs management.
  • Ability to negotiate with stakeholders for project costs.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English with excellent communication skills.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Professional certification (*, CPA, CMA, ACCA) is a plus, as is experience in a multinational organization.
