Job Summary:
The Account Manager will increase new and existing business by adapting ANSYS engineering simulation products and solutions into customers’ engineering environments and product development processes. This role involves all sales activities, from lead generation through to closing deals in an assigned territory or set of named accounts. The aim is to maximize sales profitability, growth, and account penetration, while achieving sales quota and new business growth targets.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements And Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in technical, engineering, business or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience OR 4+ years of experience. Familiarity with technical sales, ability to manage priorities, and proactive problem-solving skills are essential.

- Manage a portfolio of key strategic accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
- Perform sales activities, establish and maintain business relationships with current and/or prospective customers.
- Generate new business for an assigned geographic area or set of accounts to achieve or exceed revenue objectives.
- Create and conduct sales presentations that clearly present value through metrics and proof points.
- Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, account teams, sales management, and technical services groups.
- Research new prospective customers and expand into new groups in existing customers.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline ensuring accurate data entry into Salesforce.
