Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee and monitor day-to-day accounting activities across PIPECARE and its subsidiaries. You will report directly to the Regional Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports summarizing the company's performance, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements in compliance with IFRS standards.
- Cost Accounting: Maintain the cost accounting system, analyze production costs, and prepare cost-saving reports.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts by collaborating with various departments.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct periodic counts, and ensure accurate valuation.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting principles and legal regulations, staying updated on changes in accounting standards.
- Audit Liaison: Collaborate with external auditors, providing necessary documentation for audits.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to provide insights to management and assist in budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
Requirements:
- BS degree in Accounting, CPA, or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
- Experience in the Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, or Contracting sectors.
- Familiarity with payments, collections, and invoicing control.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to maintain focus and multitask.
- Willingness to wear safety equipment as required.
