Cashier

Job Title: Cashier

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Welcoming customers in a polite and professional manner.
• Executing payment transactions accurately (cash, cards, or other payment methods).
• Recording sales and issuing invoices through the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Handling customer inquiries regarding prices, promotions, and products.
• Making sure the cash drawer is balanced and conducting daily cash counts.
• Maintaining cleanliness and order in the cashier area.
• Reporting any financial or technical issues to the relevant management.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure a seamless customer experience.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with Point of Sale systems and modern payment methods.

Qualifications:
• Secondary School Certificate or equivalent (preferably a certificate in accounting or business administration).
• Previous experience working as a cashier (preferred but not required).
• Familiarity with basic accounting and cash handling procedures.

Work Environment:
A cashier works in a fast-paced environment such as cafes, restaurants, stores, and grocery stores, and needs to stand for long periods and interact regularly with customers.
