Position Summary
The Warehouse Section Head is responsible for supervising, organizing, and coordinating all activities associated with warehousing, ensuring timely receiving, storage, and disbursement of materials. This role includes reporting on all activities in accordance with Materials Management Procedures and relevant legal requirements, as well as liaising with key Maintenance, Planning, and Production personnel.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement of supply-related processes within the warehousing group.
• Direct and coordinate warehouse operations, ensuring materials are correctly packaged and handled.
• Optimize stock holdings and ensure secure inventory management.
• Ensure accurate inventory movements are recorded and matched with electronic systems.
• Provide training and assistance to customers regarding the supply system.
• Promote safety and environmental standards in the workplace.
• Manage the operational budget for the warehouse.

Skills Required

• Extensive skills in computerized stock control systems (SAP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Training in Hazardous Materials Handling.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Materials Management or relevant field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in chemical/refinery/gas plant maintenance.
• 5+ years of previous material handling experience.
• 35 years of supervisory experience.
