Job Summary:Join 77 Media Services Company as a Senior Accountant and play a vital role in managing and maintaining financial records. You will prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, consolidating financial information from various subsidiaries while supporting strategic decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare consolidated financial statements for the holding company and its subsidiaries.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic planning.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
- General Ledger and Accounting:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
- Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
- Intercompany Transactions:
- Monitor and reconcile intercompany accounts and transactions.
- Ensure proper allocation of shared expenses and revenues among subsidiaries.
- Tax Compliance:
- Prepare and file tax returns for the holding company and its subsidiaries.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Liaise with tax advisors and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Financial Systems and Processes:
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
- Enhance accounting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Utilize accounting software and tools effectively.
- Support and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with subsidiary finance teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Provide support for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
- Assist in special projects and perform ad hoc financial analysis as required.
Qualifications & Skills:- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Experience: 35 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within a holding company or corporate environment. Experience with consolidation of financial statements and intercompany accounting.
- Language Skills: Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written) – required for professional communication. Additional language skills are a plus.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards. Proficiency in accounting software (*, QuickBooks, ZohoBooks, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
