Join Green Group ME as a Junior Accountant!

Position Overview:
As a Junior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance department by handling daily accounting tasks. You will ensure accurate recording of financial transactions, compliance with accounting standards, and proper documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily Accounting Operations: Record financial transactions in the accounting system (Odoo/ERP), maintain organized financial records, and verify invoices and payment documents.
  • Accounts Payable: Review supplier invoices, prepare payment requests, and maintain AP aging reports.
  • Accounts Receivable: Issue client invoices, record collections, and manage AR aging reports.
  • Reconciliation & Reporting: Perform bank reconciliations and support VAT reporting and financial statement preparation.
  • Petty Cash Management: Manage petty cash transactions and review employee expense claims.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations and maintain audit-ready documentation.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in KSA.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, etc.).

Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:
Full-time position with standard working hours (Sun–Thu). Office-based with potential field document collection.

  • Supervise and review daily journal entries to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and periodically review account balances.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and payable and prepare monthly reports.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Review expenses and costs to ensure compliance with financial policies.
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Participate in inventory audits and year-end closing.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required documents.
  • Perform financial analysis and recommend improvements.
  • Supervise accounting staff and assign tasks when needed.
