Role Overview
As an Email Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing email marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement, retention, and sales. You will play a critical role in crafting personalized, data-driven email strategies to enhance Govyy’s brand presence, improve customer lifetime value (CLV), and boost revenue from our existing and potential customers.

Role Overview
As an Email Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing email marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement, retention, and sales. You will play a critical role in crafting personalized, data-driven email strategies to enhance Govyy’s brand presence, improve customer lifetime value (CLV), and boost revenue from our existing and potential customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Email Strategy & Campaign Management
- Plan, develop, and execute email marketing campaigns (newsletters, promotions, abandoned cart emails, re-engagement campaigns, etc.).
- Segment and personalize email lists to target different customer personas effectively.
- Automate email workflows, including welcome sequences, retention campaigns, and upsell sequences.
- Optimize email send times, frequency, and content to maximize open rates, CTR, and conversions.
- Content Creation & Optimization
- Write compelling email copy, subject lines, and CTAs that drive engagement and conversions.
- Design visually appealing and mobile-responsive email templates using email marketing tools.
- A/B test subject lines, email layouts, and messaging to continuously improve campaign performance.
- Analytics & Performance Tracking
- Monitor key email marketing KPIs, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and unsubscribe rates.
- Use data-driven insights to refine email strategies and improve performance.
- Generate reports and provide recommendations to enhance customer retention and email engagement.
- Customer Journey & Lifecycle Marketing
- Develop and manage behavior-based email campaigns to nurture leads and increase repeat purchases.
- Create win-back strategies to re-engage inactive customers.
- Align email marketing efforts with overall CRM and customer loyalty strategies.
- Collaboration & Compliance
- Work closely with content creators, designers, and the marketing team to align email marketing with broader digital campaigns.
- Ensure all email campaigns comply with privacy regulations (*, GDPR, CAN-SPAM, Saudi eCommerce regulations).
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in email marketing, CRM, or digital marketing.
- Strong knowledge of email marketing platforms (*, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or ActiveCampaign).
- Experience with segmentation, personalization, and automation techniques.
- Proven track record in increasing email engagement and conversion rates.
- Strong copywriting skills and ability to craft high-converting email content.
- Familiarity with email deliverability best practices and A/B testing methodologies.
- Basic HTML and email template design experience is a plus.
- Experience in eCommerce, FMCG, or DTC brands is highly preferred.
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
