Job Title: Optometrist

Job Description:
We are pleased to announce a position for an Optometrist at Magrabi Hospitals and Centers. You will be able to perform visual exams, diagnose and correct vision problems in collaboration with ophthalmologists. You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining documents and reports related to optics.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct visual exams.
  • Prescribe medical lenses and eyeglasses according to patient needs.
  • Conduct eye pressure measurement tests.
  • Develop working methods and procedures and keep up with developments in the field of optics.
  • Prepare and maintain documents and reports related to optics in the dedicated database according to established policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the application of public safety principles and rules while performing various optical tasks.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in optics, limited to specific specializations without accepting others. An optometrist certification is required.

  • Optical materials - Advanced level.
  • Optical measurement - Advanced level.
  • Lens polishing - Advanced level.
  • Operating optical assembly equipment - Advanced level.
  • Operating optical measurement equipment - Advanced level.
  • Optical engineering - Advanced level.
