  • Searching for reliable wood suppliers (such as MDF, HDF, natural wood, plywood, treated wood, and other types of wood), and the materials related to production (such as glue, nails, hinges, handles, and others).
  • Negotiating with suppliers to obtain the best prices and commercial terms.
  • Preparing purchase orders and ensuring the accuracy of their details and following up until receipt.
  • Coordinating with technical departments (such as the design or production department) to accurately determine material and raw material needs.
  • Ensuring the quality of supplied materials and their compliance with required specifications.
  • Following up with inventory to ensure the availability of sufficient quantities of basic raw materials.
  • Preparing periodic reports on purchasing movements, suppliers, and prices.
  • Visiting exhibitions and markets for wooden materials to expand the supplier network.

About the Job
We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement & Inventory Officer to manage purchasing activities, supplier relations, and inventory control in our Jeddah office. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective procurement, maintain optimal stock levels, and support smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Duties:

  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and documentation of inventory.
  • Identify slow-moving/obsolete stock and recommend disposal strategies.
  • Generate inventory reports (stock levels, consumption trends, shortages).
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and KSA procurement regulations.
  • Assist in cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
  • Coordinate with logistics for timely inbound/outbound shipments.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 35 years in procurement, purchasing, or inventory management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), and inventory software.
  • Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational abilities.
  • Language: Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • Location: Must be based in Jeddah.
