Introduction: The Senior Procurement Officer position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment at a leading company. As a Senior Officer, you will be responsible for managing procurement and contracts, helping to improve processes and sustain performance.
Responsibilities:- Submitting requests according to work orders in line with the company's policies and procedures.
- Completing the P2P cycle for all purchases.
- Managing contracts with suppliers in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
- Assessing the quality/quantity of received inventory and escalating any discrepancies.
- Conducting supplier evaluations and negotiating contracts.
- Implementing market trend analysis to support purchasing decisions.
- Requesting demand forecasts from internal customers.
- Conducting risk assessments on contracts and agreements.
- Analyzing purchasing processes and suggesting improvements.
- Supporting the team in using the ERP system.
- Preparing a weekly report that includes the total cost of closed orders.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant field.
- 3-5 years of work experience in procurement.
- Necessary computer skills.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic.
