About the RoleAs the Chief Sales Officer (CSO), you will be pivotal in leading the company’s sales efforts across both software and hardware. This role demands strategic insight and a deep understanding of the market to ensure alignment with business objectives and driving revenue growth. Your key responsibilities include:
- Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet business goals and maximize revenue.
- Revenue Generation: Drive new business opportunities, develop sales pipelines, and set targets to achieve revenue goals.
- Sales Operations: Oversee sales processes, ensuring alignment with marketing, finance, and operations.
- Team Leadership: Lead and nurture the sales team to foster a high-performance culture.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.
- Performance Management: Monitor sales performance through KPIs and coach the team for effective performance.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure cohesive efforts towards company objectives.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Utilize data analytics for effective sales forecasting and performance reporting to the executive team.
- Customer Advocacy: Align sales processes with customer needs to enhance satisfaction.
- Hiring and Retention: Recruit top sales talent and collaborate with HR to create competitive compensation packages.
Requirements- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 15+ years in sales management with a strong record of achieving growth.
- Skills: Strong knowledge in software and hardware solutions, strategic planning, budgeting, and proficiency with CRM tools.
