Job Opportunity: Accountant

We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team at White Spaces, a leading company in providing flexible workspace solutions. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing our financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review all invoices in the system from the start of the new system’s implementation and ensure their accounting entries are accurate.
  • Track all entries related to a single transaction and correct them, including the invoice, invoice cancellation, and related contracts.
  • Ensure proper closing of periodic shifts for Work&Co branches and match them with corresponding bank records.
  • Perform bank reconciliations for transactions.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the trial balance and legal auditor requirements.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Auditor (in an auditing office)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills

About the Job

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies.

Qualifications & Competencies
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (Master's a plus) and a mandatory professional certification like SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, or CIA.
  • 68 years of progressive experience in accounting/financial audit or a senior accounting role.
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic (written and spoken).
  • Deep understanding of GAAP/IFRS (KSA adapted), Saudi tax laws, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
