Join Our Team as a Lifeguard at IHG Hotels & Resorts!
We want to make our guests’ experiences truly memorable from the very first moment they set foot in one of our hotels. To set the right tone, we’re looking for a Lifeguard capable of leaving no stone unturned in pursuit of complete guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor guest activity in and around the pool and water facilities.
  • Prevent accidents and respond quickly and calmly to emergencies.
  • Administer First Aid or CPR when needed and accurately report incidents.
  • Ensure all safety equipment is functional and in place.
  • Enforce pool rules and regulations respectfully.
  • Support daily cleaning and maintenance of the water facilities.
  • Assist guests with needs or inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.

Requirements:
  • Certified in Lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid (valid certification required).
  • Previous lifeguarding experience, preferably in a resort or hotel setting.
  • Strong swimming skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Attentive, responsible, and proactive with excellent observation skills.
  • Positive attitude and guest-focused mindset.
  • Willing to work outdoors and flexible with shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Fluency in Arabic; additional languages are a plus.

  • Sort all linens to be laundered by grouping them with similar items in terms of usage and color.
  • Promptly retrieve all laundry items from guest rooms as necessary.
  • Segregate guest laundry into categories for dry cleaning, pressing, or washing, and forward them to the appropriate department.
  • Ensure that all guest laundry items are correctly processed before returning them to the rooms.
  • Deliver guest laundry to rooms while respecting any 'Do Not Disturb' requests from guests.
  • Submit billing details to the cashiering department before the end of the shift.
  • Perform any additional duties as required for operational smoothness.
