Education, Qualifications & Experiences
You should hold a degree in sales and have a minimum of two years of post-graduate work experience, ideally within the hotel industry. You must be computer literate with excellent presentation skills, and possess highly sophisticated communication skills, written and oral, with proficiency in English being essential. Any other language skills will be an asset.
Knowledge & Competencies
The ideal candidate will have a guest and service-oriented attitude, backed up by a proactive approach and a strong drive for results. You should display flexibility, integrity, and professionalism in interactions with both colleagues and clients. A track record of exceeding targets with the ability to identify, implement, and execute sales strategies and account plans is required. Additional competencies include:

- Ensuring comprehensive and complete coverage of your portfolio, covering all levels of accounts managerial and departmental executives for client servicing, achieving targets, and maximum productivity.
- Implementing and executing all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed targets set.
- Establishing parameters, quotes, and negotiating prices with customers for transient and group business in connection with the properties.
- Promoting and producing sales leads for Rotana within its respective areas.
- Providing feedback on changing marketing conditions, including trends in competition, based on direct sales solicitation, telephone, and direct mail in its market areas.
- Establishing and maintaining files of major accounts and assisting Superiors in maintaining the accounts management system.
- Ensuring that selling strategies are adhered to during negotiations and maximizing up-selling opportunities whenever possible.
