Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate

will have 67 years of hands-on experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems, with

a strong focus on transformers, switchgear, and high voltage facilities. The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will

be responsible for ensuring the safe and e􀆯icient operation of electrical equipment, coordinating maintenance

activities, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

 Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and testing of transformers, switchgear, and other high

voltage equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.

 Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, implementing e􀆯ective corrective actions to minimize

downtime and maintain operational e􀆯iciency.

 Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules and programs to extend the life of electrical

assets.

 Collaborate with other engineering and maintenance teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical

systems within broader facility operations.

 Review and revise electrical maintenance procedures and safety protocols to comply with industry

regulations and best practices.

 Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment performance data.

 Assist in the planning and execution of electrical projects, including upgrades, installations, and

retrofits related to high voltage systems.

 Provide technical support and mentorship to junior maintenance sta􀆯, promoting a culture of safety

and continuous improvement.

 Actively participate in safety meetings and training sessions, ensuring adherence to electrical safety

standards and regulations.
