The Role of Production Officer

Almarai is seeking a Production Officer to join its team in Makkah, King Abdullah Economic City, or Rabigh. This full-time role involves leading a multi-functional team to process and pack seafood products, including shrimp, salmon, and various fish species. The Production Officer ensures operations align with company specifications, production targets, and food safety standards, focusing on product quality, yield, and operational efficiency within established performance parameters. The position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate team members to achieve daily seafood production targets, adhering to product specifications and quality standards.
• Provide on-the-job training and coaching to ensure employees perform tasks safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and food safety requirements.
• Oversee seafood processing activities, including cutting, trimming, glazing, grading, and packing, to meet yield and quality targets.
• Review production plans with the Planning Department to ensure product availability according to schedules.
• Maximize service to internal customers by ensuring products are delivered at the correct time and specification.
• Ensure all seafood products consistently meet company quality and safety standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Fish Processing, or a related field.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in a similar role within a seafood or food processing environment.
• Knowledge of HACCP, ISO, and GMP standards.
