Lucid Motors Middle East is seeking a Sr. Manager, Operational Excellence to join its team in the Makkah region. This role is integral to the company's manufacturing operations located in King Abdullah Economic City and Makkah.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Sr. Manager, Operational Excellence will lead the strategic deployment of Lucid Production System (LPS) principles across all manufacturing operations. This full-time position is responsible for driving enterprise-level continuous improvement initiatives, overseeing critical programs, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve world-class performance in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. The role acts as a change agent, fostering a culture of Lean thinking and operational excellence throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Operational Excellence roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and factory performance targets.
• Champion LPS principles across all operational areas, focusing on standardization, waste elimination, and continuous improvement at scale.
• Manage the Material Review Board (MRB) process, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and the deployment of waste reduction strategies with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor and coach leaders and team members in Lean principles, problem-solving methodologies, and data-driven decision-making.
• Establish and monitor layered audit systems, process reviews, and compliance checks to sustain improvements.
• Utilize advanced data analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and productivity improvement, and implement KPI dashboards for real-time visibility.
• Facilitate enterprise-level Kaizen events and lead Gemba walks to uncover systemic issues and drive impactful solutions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Lean tools and systems, including 6S, standard work, and visual management.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams to deliver projects that enhance safety, minimize production issues, and improve vehicle quality.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for this position should possess over 10 years of experience in operational excellence or a related field, demonstrating a proven track record in leading continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing environments.

Compensation

This position includes a discretionary annual cash incentive program and participation in an equity program.

The role is based in the Makkah region, with responsibilities covering operations in King Abdullah Economic City and Makkah.
