Position Summary

The Security Supervisor (Saudi National) is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of guests, employees, visitors, contractors, and hotel property at Rixos Murjana. This full-time role involves supervising daily security operations under the Director of Security, ensuring constant vigilance in assigned areas, and controlling access to the property. The Security Supervisor is expected to demonstrate strong leadership, sound judgment, professionalism, integrity, and a proactive approach to security and risk prevention, while maintaining a high standard of guest service.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep the Assistant Security Manager and Director of Security informed of all security-related matters.
• Coordinate with the Director of Engineering on fire, safety, and security responsibilities.
• Liaise with hotel management, employees, local law enforcement, and other authorities on security issues and loss prevention.
• Supervise the daily activities of the Security team and ensure all assigned security posts, including the CCTV room, are properly staffed and inspected.
• Ensure all security personnel follow established access-control and security procedures.
• Control the movement of contractors, visitors, suppliers, and authorized persons in and out of back-of-house areas, ensuring proper issuance and recording of visitor passes.
• Monitor and control the movement of materials, equipment, and other items entering or leaving the hotel.
• Continuously evaluate potential security threats and implement appropriate preventive measures.
• Maintain confidentiality of all security records, reports, investigations, and sensitive hotel information.

Security Reporting and Documentation

• Supervise the preparation and distribution of security reports to hotel management.
• Ensure all security incidents and relevant activities are properly documented.
• Review the Duty Manager/Night Manager logbook daily and take corrective action on security-related matters.
• Review the Security Department logbook daily and take appropriate action when required.
• Keep the Security Manager informed of significant incidents, risks, and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records relating to security operations in accordance with company standards.

Emergency and Crisis Management

• Ensure all Security employees are thoroughly familiar with the hotel's emergency procedures.
• Ensure the Security team remains fully prepared for emergency situations.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant security role.
• Ability to maintain proper grooming and professional appearance at all times.
• Demonstrated cooperation, respect, and professionalism within the Security Department and with other hotel departments.
• Knowledge of hotel's daily activities, facilities, services, and operations.
• Must be a Saudi National.
