As an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you will oversee and influence the service culture of our dining operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience through effective leadership. Your responsibilities will include:
- Directing, implementing, and maintaining service standards while motivating and guiding team members.
- Being creative and curious about the latest food and beverage trends.
- Planning and executing all aspects of service delivery and day-to-day operations.
- Providing ongoing training, coaching, and guidance to maintain high standards.
- Monitoring quality, service, and guest satisfaction, making adjustments as needed.
- Maximizing quality levels of products, services, and guest satisfaction.
- Developing and supervising all F&B team members through motivational daily rallies.
- Ensuring adherence to all Food & Beverage Standards.
- Creating a culture of teamwork and service excellence alongside your team.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- Previous experience in a Forbes 5-star establishment (highly advantageous).
- Excellent skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and guests.
- Ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
- Experience training employees to service standards outlined in departmental manuals.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage cost accounting, payrolls, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Familiarity with various culinary styles and service techniques.
- Working knowledge of product, service, and labor costs, and their impacts.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and point-of-sale programs.
- Effective communication skills with other departments such as Sales, Catering, Housekeeping, and Culinary.
