Key Responsibilities:

• Input SAP accounting data, including setting up new installation projects, receivables, and payables.
• Assist in preparing cash and bank vouchers.
• Submit and collect documents from government, banks, and other offices.
• Make online bill payments and assist with banking documents including money orders and transfers.
• Support the Corporate Accounting Manager in reconciling variances and preparing monthly closing schedules.
• Prepare monthly and yearly reports on fixed assets and inventory.
• Coordinate with employees regarding inquiries on their loan balances.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

About The Job
An opportunity has arisen for Sous Chef (Pastry Speciality) for Culinary Department to join Jumeirah Group.

Main Duties And Responsibilities:

• Assist the Executive Chef / Pastry Chef de Cuisine in setting service and pastry production standards.
• Communicate any issues arising within the pastry section to the Executive Sous Chef.
• Support the Executive Chef / Pastry Chef de Cuisine in developing new pastry and dessert menu items.
• Manage and coordinate staff training within the pastry section.
• Implement approved departmental policies and procedures.
• Motivate pastry team members and contribute to identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment regulations.
• Maintain the designated pastry section, equipment, and utensils in a clean and hygienic condition.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a similar Pastry Chef role.
• In-depth knowledge of classic and modern pastry techniques.
• Strong understanding of ingredient functionality and pastry production methods.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• High attention to detail and commitment to hygiene.

• Prepare and negotiate rate agreements, packages, and group proposals in line with pricing strategy.
• Promote and upsell resort services including food & beverage, spa, and activities.
• Manage relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and corporate accounts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master’s is a plus).
• 3–5 years of experience in hotel/resort sales, preferably in luxury settings.
