The Technical Marketing Manager collaborates closely with the marketing and sales and R&D teams to translate product technical features into compelling market propositions, manage customer technical complaints, and contribute to the development of new products and innovations.

This role bridges technical expertise with product management, marketing, and sales efforts. The Technical Marketing Manager collaborates closely with the marketing and sales and R&D teams to translate product technical features into compelling market propositions, manage customer technical complaints, and contribute to the development of new products and innovations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development, launch, and continuous improvement of products to align with market demands and strategic goals.
- Work closely with the R&D team to identify and pursue opportunities for new product development and technological innovation.
- Integrate feedback from customers and market research to guide the creation and enhancement of products.
- Address and manage customer technical complaints promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Provide technical expertise to the sales and customer support teams for seamless customer interaction and issue resolution.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies that highlight the technical advantages and benefits of products.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create targeted product messaging and promotional materials, ensuring consistency and clarity.
- Conduct market studies to evaluate trends, identify new opportunities, and inform future product development.
- Analyze competitor strategies and adjust Edama’s product positioning accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
- Develop training programs and materials to educate internal teams about product specifications and usage.
- Maintain detailed documentation of product specifications, benefits, and updates for internal and external use.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in a marketing role, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or strategic position, preferably in a startup environment.
- Proven experience in creating and executing marketing strategies that integrate technical aspects.
- Strong background in digital marketing, content creation, SEO, SEM, and social media marketing.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, engaging ways for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to produce technical documents, case studies, marketing materials, and presentations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze market trends, customer data, and competitor activity to inform marketing decisions.
- Experience with analytics tools (*, Google Analytics, CRM systems).
- Expertise in digital marketing tools, email campaigns, and social media platforms.
- Ability to lead marketing teams and work collaboratively with other departments.
- Comfortable in a startup environment with a hands-on, dynamic approach.
