About the Role:
We are looking to hire a competent Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement activities across various categories of spend, ensure better deals, and collaborate with profitable suppliers. Our client is a renowned mining group based in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement purchasing and contract management policies.
  • Track and report on key functional metrics to reduce expenses.
  • Craft negotiation strategies to secure optimal supplier deals.
  • Manage daily purchasing activities and supervise the team.
  • Ensure all procured items meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vendor evaluations.
  • Administer the bidding process and maintain compliance with regulations.
  • Enhance purchasing methods and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.

Skills and Requirements:
  • BS degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
