The Regional Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a fully automated warehouse, ensuring optimal efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Operations Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a fully automated warehouse.
- Manage automated material handling systems and warehouse management software.
- Monitor and maintain high levels of inventory accuracy.
- Implement and enforce safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Automation & Technology Optimization:
- Ensure optimal functioning of warehouse automation systems.
- Collaborate with IT and automation teams to troubleshoot issues.
- Analyze data to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce costs.
- Stay updated on emerging warehouse automation technologies.
- Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination:
- Work closely with procurement and distribution teams.
- Optimize warehouse layout and slotting strategies.
- Ensure real-time tracking and reporting of inventory levels.
- Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.
- Team Leadership & Performance Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse supervisors.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and efficiency.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and training programs.
- Cost & Performance Optimization:
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and monitor KPIs.
- Prepare and manage the warehouse budget.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 710 years of warehouse management experience.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of WMS, ERP, and automation technology.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead high-performing teams.
- Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications are preferred.
