Role Overview
The General Accountant will manage the general ledger structure, ensuring compliance with financial policies and reliable reporting. This role focuses on optimizing the GL system for continuous improvement and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop the general ledger structure and financial systems.
  • Contribute to accounting policy development.
  • Support month-end and year-end reporting as well as external audits.
  • Lead and develop the GL team, focusing on critical reviews a monitoring KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational financial reporting standards.

Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Accounting and Finance.
  • Proficiency in GL systems, particularly with SAP.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and experience in managing diverse teams.

Requirements:
  • University degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Average of 5 years working experience in Cost Control/Cost Estimation with EPC/Heavy Industrial construction company.
  • Experience in Tunnels projects in KSA is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
