The Opportunity: Team Manager (Quality) | Seafood

Almarai is seeking a Team Manager (Quality) for its Seafood division. This full-time role is based in Makkah, King Abdullah Economic City, or Rabigh. The position involves managing a self-directing, multi-functional team focused on the manufacture and packaging of seafood products. The role requires 2-5 years of experience and is integral to maintaining internal and regulatory standards while continuously improving production efficiencies in a safe manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a self-directing, multi-functional team in the manufacture and packaging of seafood products.
• Ensure adherence to internal and regulatory standards throughout the production process.
• Drive continuous improvement in production efficiencies.
• Maintain a safe working environment and conduct risk assessments within the department.
• Lead and support the implementation of corrective actions in collaboration with department managers.
• Actively participate as a member of the HACCP team.
• Oversee the successful commissioning, verification, and trials of new equipment.
• Conduct plant inspections and GMP audits as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in dairy/food technology or a related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of ISO9000 / ISO 22000 quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position within a dynamic multinational team. The role is based in one of the following cities: Makkah, King Abdullah Economic City, or Rabigh. The Team Manager will contribute to Almarai's aggressive expansion program and growth plans within new vertical markets.
