The Role: Senior Production Manager (Seafood Processing)

Almarai is seeking a Senior Production Manager (Seafood Processing) to lead and manage end-to-end seafood production operations. This full-time position involves overseeing Shrimp, Salmon, and Multi-Purpose processing lines. The role is critical for ensuring production efficiency, maintaining product quality, ensuring food safety compliance, optimizing yield, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet business objectives and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations across seafood processing and packing lines.
• Ensure strict compliance with HACCP, SFDA regulations, ISO standards, and all food safety requirements.
• Drive production efficiency, maximize yield, and minimize waste and processing losses.
• Manage manpower, equipment, and resources effectively to achieve production targets.
• Monitor all seafood processing activities, including filleting, trimming, grading, portioning, glazing, freezing, and packaging.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational excellence and product consistency.
• Lead, coach, and develop production teams to improve performance and technical capability.
• Collaborate closely with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and HSE teams to ensure smooth and integrated operations.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across manufacturing processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Production Management, Seafood Processing Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in seafood processing and food manufacturing operations.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within seafood production.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of seafood processing technologies, yield management, and cold-chain operations.
• HACCP certification and knowledge of ISO 22000 are highly desirable.
• Experience in plant commissioning, SOP development, and continuous improvement initiatives is considered an advantage.

Work Location

This full-time position is based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with operations located in Makkah, King Abdullah Economic City, and Rabigh.
