About the Fleet Coordinator Role
Panda Retail Company is seeking a Fleet Coordinator to join our team in Rabigh. This employee role requires 2-5 years of experience in fleet management or a related field. The Fleet Coordinator will play a crucial part in optimizing fleet operations and ensuring efficient delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to delivery schedules and routing by assigning deliveries through the system to meet fleet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and optimize route planning.
- Record all deliveries, including backloads, in the system to maintain accurate data.
- Optimize in-transit fleet trucks for backloads from suppliers to reduce waiting times.
- Follow the Incentive Policy for all deliveries by monitoring cost per kilometer and per region for all drivers to achieve optimal cost outcomes.
- Issue diesel vouchers in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and company policy.
- Record trip distances in the system and reflect them in the incentive amounts.
- Ensure driver availability for deliveries as per schedule to meet on-time delivery targets.
- Obtain floor counts for ready-to-load orders by receiving reports from the Outbound team to ensure optimal truck and fleet utilization.
- Open and close all trips through the system to maintain high data accuracy.
- Provide all related reports to the line manager on an agreed schedule for operational visibility.
- Report any operational issues to the line manager of fleet management promptly and ensure a response to mitigate business risks.
- Follow up with drivers and stores to ensure shipments are offloaded on time.
- Record Proof of Delivery (POD) in the system when closing any trip.
- Rotate drivers within regions to ensure fairness.
- Adhere to the company's safety instructions, maintain company property, and work in a safe environment, committing to and implementing work mechanisms.
Qualifications and Experience
- Required experience: 2-5 years in fleet coordination or a similar role.
- Familiarity with fleet management systems and routing optimization.
- Understanding of delivery schedules, KPIs, and incentive policies.
- Proficiency in data recording and reporting.
Work Environment and Location
This is an employee position based in Rabigh. The role involves working within a dynamic operational environment focused on logistics and fleet management.
Additional Duties
Employee duties are not limited to the responsibilities outlined above. The Fleet Coordinator may be assigned other duties as required to support the operational needs of the company.
