About the Role

Abunayyan Holding is seeking a Production Manager to lead and optimize manufacturing operations in Rabigh, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to achieving defined output volumes, target timelines, and cost efficiency, while ensuring adherence to quality specifications and HSE standards across all production lines. The Production Manager will drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage capacity planning, and provide technical leadership within the Operations Division.

Key Operational Responsibilities

The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of plant manufacturing, focusing on operational excellence and cost optimization. Key responsibilities include:

  • Directing and leading manufacturing operations to ensure products meet required volumes, specifications, and cost targets, adhering strictly to company standards.
  • Overseeing daily production lines, machinery operations, and maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Preparing and managing the annual production budget, ensuring actual spending remains aligned with approved financial limits.
  • Implementing operational policies, procedures, and Lean manufacturing practices to continually improve workflow efficiency and eliminate waste.
  • Defining and executing operational strategies and schedules to optimize capacity planning and meet demand targets with minimal overhead costs.
  • Monitoring material usage and scrap rates, collaborating with the Supply Chain team for seamless inventory flow and material availability.
  • Supporting management in evaluating operational capabilities, capacity expansion, and technical enhancements needed to meet new product specifications.

Quality, Safety, and Team Leadership

This role emphasizes maintaining high standards of quality and safety, alongside fostering a high-performing team environment:

  • Ensuring full compliance within the shop floor with established Quality Assurance standards and product specifications set by the Quality Department.
  • Enforcing strict adherence to Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), and security policies across all production areas.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives based on audit feedback, defect root-cause analysis, and safety evaluations.
  • Directing, coaching, and developing the production team (Engineers, Maintenance Engineers, and Line Supervisors/Operators) to build a high-performing technical workforce.
  • Setting performance KPIs, evaluating team output, and implementing targeted training and development plans.
  • Maintaining discipline, high moral standards, and clear accountability across all shift rosters.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess a strong background in manufacturing operations and leadership:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering).
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of overall experience in plant manufacturing operations.
  • At least 4–6 years in a Managerial or Senior Operational role within a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record in production planning, maintenance management, capacity utilization, and plant cost optimization.

Preferred Qualifications and Certifications

The following qualifications are highly advantageous for this role:

  • A Master’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (MBA) or Supply Chain/Operations Management.
  • Professional Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or Project Management Professional (PMP).
