Network Engineer

About the Role

Tuwaiq Casting & Forging Company is seeking a Network Engineer to join its IT Department in Ras Tannurah, Eastern region. This full-time role involves designing, implementing, and supporting secure, high-performance networks across both IT and OT environments. The Network Engineer will report to the IT Director and ensure reliable connectivity, strong security, and seamless integration between enterprise and operational systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain IT/OT network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VLANs, wireless, and data center environments.
• Implement and manage firewalls, Network Access Control (NAC), DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM), and VPN solutions to ensure security, segmentation, and secure access.
• Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring high availability and quick incident resolution.
• Support redundancy, failover, and disaster recovery readiness for critical systems.
• Maintain updated network documentation, including diagrams, standards, and configurations.
• Provide secure remote access for employees and third parties.
• Contribute to IT/OT integration projects and collaborate with vendors on solution deployment.
• Support network monitoring and security controls, including IDS/IPS and logging, to maintain visibility and compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering across IT and OT environments.
• Experience designing resilient networks and troubleshooting complex issues.

Technical Competencies

• Strong knowledge of firewalls and network security controls.
• Proficiency in Network Access Control (NAC).
• Experience with DDI, including DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management.
• Familiarity with VPN and secure remote access solutions.
• Expertise in routing, switching, and wireless networks.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within the IT Department of Tuwaiq Casting & Forging Company, located in Ras Tannurah, Eastern region. The role involves working with both IT and OT environments to ensure robust network infrastructure and security.
