Role OverviewThe Barista will work alongside the Cafe Manager to support daily operations in line with the company's standards. You will apply your coffee knowledge and interpersonal skills to enhance customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities- Adhere to coffee recipes during preparation.
- Maintain brewing equipment functionality and report issues.
- Be attentive to customers’ orders and preferences.
- Present Calo’s culture and values positively to customers.
- Ensure timely operation of the cafe meeting quality standards.
- Effectively solve any issues that arise.
- Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain professionalism with coworkers.
Ideal CandidateQualifications- Minimum 1 year of previous experience as a Barista.
- Certified Barista certificate required.
- Currently present in KSA.
- Proficient in English.
Knowledge and Competency- Strong knowledge of coffee and different mixtures.
- Ability to differentiate coffee aromas and tastes.
- Hands-on experience with professional coffee machines.
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with useful computer programs.
- Effective communication, especially in writing.
Personality- Strong communicator with a pleasant personality.
- Able to lead with empathy.
