Cashier

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced cashier to join our team in the retail store. You will be responsible for directly dealing with customers, managing financial operations, and working within a team to ensure smooth workflow. This role requires prior experience in a retail environment and a good understanding of point of sale (POS) systems and inventory management. Responsibilities: • Deal with customers and provide excellent customer service. • Manage payment processes through point of sale (POS) systems. • Conduct financial operations including cash payments, cards, and returns. • Maintain the accuracy of accounts and financial amounts. • Monitor inventory and inform the manager of any shortage or surplus in products. • Verify prices and promotional offers and ensure that prices are updated in the system. • Provide support in organizing and arranging products in the store. • Assist in periodic inventory audits. Requirements: • Previous experience working as a cashier in a retail store or similar environment. • Good knowledge of point of sale (POS) systems and inventory management. • Ability to handle numbers accurately and attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with customers professionally. • Ability to work under pressure and achieve daily objectives. • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment. • It is preferable for the applicant to have received training in inventory management or customer service.

A cashier is required to work in a prestigious retail store, possessing customer service skills and experience in using electronic point of sale systems. Main tasks include: • Receiving customer payments using cash and debit cards • Conducting daily inventory and cash reconciliation • Handling customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the payment area • Preparing daily sales and payment reports • Assisting in pricing operations and updating prices. Required qualifications: A high school diploma at minimum, at least one year of experience in accounting or sales, proficiency in using computers, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure and within a team.
