About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tax Specialist to join our team. As a Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. You will work closely with clients, providing expert guidance and support related to tax planning and strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to resolve complex tax issues
  • Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to provide accurate and timely advice to clients
  • Advise clients on tax planning strategies and potential tax savings opportunities
  • Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate potential impacts to clients
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA certification preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation and planning
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in using tax software and MS Office applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines consistently
