Heating Air Conditioning Technician

About the Role

Mohammed Mansour Al-Rumaih (MMR KSA) is seeking a Heating Air Conditioning Technician to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical and HVAC systems within a data center environment. The technician will work under the supervision of the Mechanical Engineer to ensure optimal cooling performance, environmental stability, and compliance with safety standards for continuous uptime.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor HVAC systems and mechanical equipment using BMS and through on-site inspections.
• Ensure temperature, humidity, and airflow adhere to ASHRAE and data center standards.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, pumps, and valves.
• Respond promptly to mechanical or HVAC faults and escalate complex issues to the Mechanical Engineer.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of HVAC equipment and piping systems.
• Support airflow management within white space, including hot/cold aisle containment.
• Adhere to lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and mechanical safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with local mechanical codes and company standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and test results.
• Report system status and incidents to the Mechanical Engineer.

Systems and Equipment

The role focuses on critical data center infrastructure, including chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, cooling towers, pumps, and associated piping systems. A strong understanding of these components is essential for maintaining operational efficiency and environmental control.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field, demonstrating proficiency in HVAC system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The ability to work effectively under supervision and contribute to a team environment is required.
