About the Role:
We are looking for an Inventory Accountant to join our team at Al Rashed Food Company. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and analyzing our inventory operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze data regarding operational costs.
• Prepare and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, excess stock, and potential obsolescence, making recommendations for optimizing inventory levels.
• Participate in month-end and year-end close processes as well as yearly external audit processes.
• Assist with new product costing.
• Reconcile inventory sub-ledger reports to the general ledger.
• Collaborate with purchasing and warehouse departments to monitor incoming inventory for proper classification and valuation.
• Implement and maintain internal controls over inventory to prevent loss and ensure the integrity of stock and accounting records.
• Develop and refine inventory accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance with changing regulations and standards.
• Provide management with reports comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
