About the Role

Afaaq - Warehouse Branch is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist Security & Loss Prevention to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is integral to maintaining the security and operational continuity of the company's operations network, which is known for its efficiency in delivering packages to customers daily. The specialist will provide security services across the end-to-end supply chain to protect personnel and prevent loss.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular physical security audits and investigate policy violations, security-related incidents, and loss events.
• Collect information during investigations by monitoring systems and tools, analyzing data reports, and conducting interviews.
• Identify process vulnerabilities and contribute to the development of mitigating measures.
• Maintain the physical integrity of sites by auditing and monitoring the health status of security systems, ensuring their functionality with subject matter experts and external suppliers.
• Interact daily with external security service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery and a smooth customer experience.
• Act as a point of contact and subject matter expert for internal and external departments (*, legal, HR, security service providers, local law enforcement) on Security and Loss Prevention matters.
• Deliver loss prevention education and awareness programs to other teams and liaise with stakeholders on policy and procedure across all management levels.

Operational Support and Compliance

• Support the resilience of business operations by contributing to emergency and crisis planning for sites within the area of responsibility.
• Contribute to the identification of vulnerabilities (*, loss, associate experience, process improvement) and define appropriate mitigating actions, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Serve as a point of contact and coordinate risk management measures with local management and external stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies and industry associations, on all security-related matters.
• Ensure assigned sites comply with global security standards.

Team and Organizational Context

This role is part of the Global Security Operations organization, where the Security and Loss Prevention team supports business targets and strengthens the brand. This is achieved by protecting against relevant threats and managing security and loss prevention risks that could jeopardize associates and customers, disrupt business operations, damage assets, or negatively impact brand reputation.

Approach to Security

The team works in partnership with stakeholders to secure the supply chain end-to-end and promote security in business discussions. This involves preventing security and loss prevention-related risks and vulnerabilities as early as possible, intervening in unfolding incidents to minimize negative impact, and thoroughly investigating security-related incidents to identify and remove root causes, thereby preventing reoccurrence.
