Requirements:

• Possession of an optical diploma.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Must hold a valid Optician license from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

Are you passionate about eye health? In this role, you will primarily examine, diagnose, treat, and manage diseases, injuries, and disorders of the visual system, the eye, and associated structures. You will identify related systemic conditions affecting the eye, prescribe medications, and perform specified surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine the patient and perform Comprehensive Dilated Eye Exams.
• Measure Visual Acuity in each eye for near and distance vision.
• Detect and diagnose various eye disorders, including Binocular Vision Disorders and Accommodative Disorders.
• Conduct pre-and post-operative examinations in cooperation with the surgeon.
• Utilize diagnostic tools such as the Slit Lamp and Fluorescein dye.
• Referral to ophthalmologist when necessary for advanced conditions.
• Lead patient education initiatives in eye care.

Requirements:

• Educational: Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry.
• Experience: Minimum of three (3) years in a hospital or clinic setting.
• Strong healthcare knowledge and technical capabilities.
