Receptionist

We have a vacancy under the title (Guest Relations Specialist) that will undertake the following tasks:

• Providing exceptional customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and providing information related to the mall (such as store locations, events, and available services).

• Resolving basic customer issues such as lost and found, providing guidance, or handling minor complaints while escalating complex issues to the supervisor.

• Maintaining a positive interaction with visitors through clear communication, assistance, and problem-solving skills.

• Documenting details of visitor interactions and feedback by recording comments and notes.

• Assisting in collecting data and updating frequently asked questions based on visitor inquiries.

• Adhering to the procedures and protocols established in the mall to ensure a consistent experience for visitors.

• Completing assigned tasks on time and to a high standard, as directed by the customer service supervisor or other team members.

Hotel Receptionist Duties:

1. Welcoming Guests:

• Welcoming guests with a friendly smile and greeting them.
• Assisting them with check-in and check-out smoothly.

1. Handling Reservations:

• Entering and updating reservation details in the system.
• Ensuring room availability and making necessary adjustments as requested.

1. Answering Inquiries:

• Providing information about the hotel and available services.
• Guiding guests to tourist attractions and local amenities.

1. Handling Complaints:

• Listening to guests' problems and resolving them quickly and effectively.
• Escalating complaints to management if necessary.

1. Coordinating Requests:

• Communicating with other departments (such as housekeeping and room service) to fulfill guests' requests.
• Providing excellent service to ensure guest satisfaction.

1. Financial Procedures:

• Collecting payments and issuing invoices.
• Ensuring accuracy of financial data and maintaining records.

1. Handling Phone Calls:

• Answering phone calls and transferring them to the appropriate departments.
• Confirming reservations and responding to inquiries from potential guests.

Required Skills:

• Strong communication skills and tact.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly.
• Proficiency in using hotel management and reservation software.
• Fluency in English (any additional languages are a plus).
• A professional appearance and demeanor.
