Safety Engineer

About the Role

HRGF is seeking an experienced Safety Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction or EPC projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing HSE policies, conducting safety inspections, and ensuring a safe working environment across project sites.

Role Overview

The Safety Engineer will play a critical role in maintaining high safety standards on project sites. This involves conducting thorough risk assessments, ensuring compliance with both Saudi safety regulations and project-specific HSE requirements, and actively coordinating with project teams. Strong knowledge of safety standards and effective communication skills are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies and site safety procedures.
• Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
• Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi safety regulations and project HSE requirements.
• Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
• Monitor PPE compliance and maintain safety documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Engineering degree, diploma, or relevant qualification in Occupational Health & Safety.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction or EPC projects in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards and Saudi safety regulations.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent certification is preferred.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Candidates must be willing to work at various project locations across Saudi Arabia as required. The role involves active engagement with project teams and on-site presence to ensure safety protocols are consistently met.
