Senior Contracts Engineer

About the Role

Value International Group is seeking a Senior Contracts Engineer to lead contract administration and claims management for engineering projects. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and requires a professional with over 15 years of experience. The role focuses on ensuring contractual compliance, minimizing risks, and supporting strong commercial and contractual project outcomes.

Role Purpose

The Senior Contracts Engineer will play a key leadership role in enhancing contract performance, supporting informed decision-making, and ensuring effective project delivery from a contractual perspective. This involves providing expert advice and managing contractual aspects across diverse engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and negotiate complex engineering contracts.
• Ensure full compliance with contractual, technical, and legal requirements.
• Prepare, issue, and track contractual letters and notices in accordance with time-bar provisions.
• Manage Extension of Time (EOT), variation, and financial claims.
• Analyze and resolve contractual disputes, providing support for arbitration processes when required.
• Provide expert contractual and technical advice to project teams and management.
• Assess contractual risks and support informed decision-making.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Supervise and mentor Contracts Engineers, supporting their professional development.

• Improvement in claims outcomes and negotiation efficiency.

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the Head of Department and the Chief Coordination Officer.
