About the Job:We seek a dynamic and creative Communications and Events Specialist to join our team in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Senior Manager - Communications and Events, this role will play a key role in developing and executing communication strategies and managing high-profile events that align with our organisational objectives. The ideal candidate will have a solid corporate communications and event planning background, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Events Management:
- Support the organization of corporate events such as conferences, trade shows, etc.
- Assist in event logistics, including coordinating venue selection, managing supplier relationships, and tracking budgets.
- Help develop event timelines and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align event activities with company objectives and branding guidelines.
- Collect feedback from attendees and prepare a post-event report for review.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of events and communication initiatives.
- Maintain professional relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners to support event needs.
- Ensure event materials comply with brand guidelines and quality standards, including buildup materials and any branding elements.
- Coordinate with suppliers to guarantee timely and quality delivery of services and products.
- Monitor event space arrangements, ensuring they meet requirements and reflect the company’s image.
- Oversee event setup and teardown processes, ensuring adherence to schedules and standards.
- Communications:
- Assist in the development and execution of internal and external communication strategies.
- Craft compelling written content, including press releases, newsletters, social media posts, and event collateral.
- Support the management of the company’s online presence, including updates to the corporate website and social media platforms.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align messaging and ensure consistency across all channels.
- Monitor media coverage and provide analysis and reporting to management.
- Monitor and engage with followers on social media platforms, ensuring timely and professional responses to inquiries and comments in alignment with the company’s tone of voice and community management guidelines.
- Track and analyse engagement metrics, providing insights to improve community interaction.
Profile Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
- 35 years of experience in corporate communications, PR, and event management.
- Proven experience in planning and executing events of various scales.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and prioritise tasks effectively.
