About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to join our team. If you are passionate about ensuring workplace safety and have experience working on landscape construction projects, this role is perfect for you! You will play a crucial role in promoting a culture of safety and ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards across our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety policies and procedures for all construction projects.
  • Conduct site inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and industry safety regulations and standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to site personnel on safety practices, procedures, and emergency response.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate safety into project planning and execution.
  • Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in safety regulations and industry best practices.

Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certifications: OSHA, NEBOSH, or other relevant safety certifications (preferred). First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in a Safety Manager role. Preferably experience in landscape construction projects or similar outdoor construction environments.
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, procedures, and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in safety management systems and reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in implementing safety practices in projects involving sustainable landscaping or environmentally sensitive areas. Familiarity with landscaping machinery and equipment safety standards.
